Newly-single actress REESE WITHERSPOON is thrilled she has become a style icon since separating from husband RYAN PHILLIPPE last year (06). The LEGALLY BLONDE star says her dramatic debut at the Golden Globe Awards in January (07), in a sleek yellow dress and new hairstyle, was a chic-coming out party. She tells American Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I felt like I looked different than I've ever looked." Witherspoon has two young children - AVA, seven, and DEACON, three - and has been criticised for making matronly fashion choices in the past. She credits NINA RICCI designer OLIVIER THEYSKENS for masterminding her transformation, adding, "I've used a stylist before, but these days I'm kind of just going with Olivier's taste."
