Wire's Concerns Over New Manics Album

Rocker NICKY WIRE is worried the upcoming MANIC STREET PREACHERS album will flop - because he's convinced the band has made its new material too commercial.
The group has been busy in the studio recording tracks for Postcards from a Young Man, which is due to hit stores in Britain next week (begs20Sep10).
But bassist Wire is nervous the release will be poorly received because of the nature of the band's fresh sound.
He explains, "(I still get nervous) especially with this record because we've put a lot of pressure on ourselves because we've made something genuinely commercial and we're well aware of the fact that it could either really connect with people or be a complete stiff."
