Winner Washes Hair With Beer

Veteran movie-maker Michael Winner has a bizarre beauty regime - he washes his hair with beer.

The Death Wish director soaks his thinning locks every day to boost their volume and keep them tangle-free, but deliberately shuns shampoo in favour of ice-cold ale.

He says, "It gives my hair body. I can use any lager beer but my hair prefers Heineken."
