Winehouse: 'Insecurity Fuels My Wild Ways'
British singer Amy Winehouse blames her heavy drinking and wild behaviour on feeling insecure about her looks.
The 24-year-old Rehab hitmaker - who reportedly suffered a drug overdose in August (07) - confesses to being driven by demons in everything she does, but is at a loss as to how to change.
She says, "I'm quite an insecure person. I'm very insecure about the way I look. I mean, I'm a musician not a model. The more insecure I felt, the more I'd drink.
"And to (my hairdresser) Tracy Trash, I'd be like, 'Bigger! Bigger! - like the more insecure I feel, the bigger my hair has to be."
Last Friday (19Oct07) the troubled singer spent a night in the cells after being arrested for possession of cannabis before a show in Bergen, Norway.
