Wilson Hints At Beach Boys Reunion
The Good Vibrations hitmakers formed in 1961 but since the 1980s - following a series of legal wranglings over the use of the band's name and the royalties to its songs - several different versions of the group have toured under the Beach Boys moniker.
Now Wilson has revealed he's "considering" reuniting with his fellow surviving founder members - Mike Love and Al Jardine - to record new tracks.
He tells Bbc 6 Music, "I'm considering it. I don't know yet, but I am considering it... Nothing's really holding me back. I just don't know if I want to be around those guys, you know? They're zany guys. They're crazy."
Wilson formed the band with Love, Jardine, and his brothers Dennis and Carl. Dennis Wilson drowned in 1983, and Carl Wilson died from cancer in 1998.
