Willow Smith Debuts Green Hair During Beyonce Visit

She may only be 11 years old but Willow Smith is fast becoming a trendsetter in the world of fashion. She recently stunned her fans by shaving off the locks that made her famous, with the release of her hit single 'Whip Your Hair' and now, she's dyed her shorn head green and been snapped stepping out in an ambitious pair of high heeled trainers from the Y-3 label.

The Daily Mail published photos of the young star on the weekend (March 16, 2012), on an outing to visit her parents' celebrity friends, Beyonce and Jay Z and their new baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Willow was snapped in a daring pair of skeleton-design heels; a design collaboration between Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto. The shoes have an unusual cut-away heel, but the youngster seemed to have no trouble bounding about the streets of New York on her way to meet hip-hop royalty (she's signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation label). She teamed the striking footwear with some skinny jeans, a Louis Vuitton bag and a black "origami" jacket.

Willow is the daughter of the famed movie actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. She's used to a life in the limelight and works as a singer and actress herself. She has spoken in the past about how her work gets in the way of her educational development - despite having a personal tutor - and has recently used her Twitter account to stress that she is just a normal kid, behind the celebrity lifestyle that she leads. On February 26, she posted a message that read "I am regular person.... For forget that... Nobody has a Picture Perfect life... I am still just a child..." She will shortly be starring alongside her brother Jaden in an adaptation of the comic book series Amulet.
