Willie Nelson Won't Have To Sing Or Appear In Court On Drug Possession Charge
A Hudspeth County prosecutor suggested the country star should perform his song Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain to resolve his charges, but Judge Becky Dean-Walker told the Associated Press that the idea was just a joke that "got out of hand".
Nelson will be able to plead guilty and pay a small fine without appearing in court.
He was arrested for possession in November (10) when a Border Patrol agent smelled pot smoke during a routine search of the singer's tour bus.
