Willie Nelson Lands A Radio Station
The singer/songwriter will launch WILLIE'S PLACE for the XM Satellite Radio network on 10 July (06).
The traditional country station was formerly known as HANK'S PLACE.
Thrilled Nelson says, "I've been a fan of XM and Hank's Place since the very beginning. They put a lot of thought and hard work into making the channel sound as good as it does, so I feel privileged to be a part of it."
Willie's Place will eventually broadcast from a new studio to be built in 2007 in Nelson's new biodiesel truck stop in Carl's Corner, Texas.
