Williams Missed Out On Owen Wedding

The British singer was rumoured to have jetted to the Scottish Highlands to witness Owen tying the knot with girlfriend Emma Ferguson on Sunday (08Nov09).

He was even said to be planning to serenade guests - but Williams insists he was forced to snub the ceremony for an appearance on German entertainment show Wetten, Dass?.

Williams jokes, "(The wedding was) absolutely fantastic. Really, really lovely. Can I just qualify - I wasn't there. I was in Germany doing a TV show but I did like reading that I had flown up on a plane and that I was going to be singing. I was like, 'Oh, really?'"
