Williams Horrified By Father's Arrest In Australia

Brokeback Mountain star Michelle Williams was mortified when her father was arrested for tax evasion in Sydney because boyfriend Heath Ledger is such a big star Down Under.
LARRY WILLIAMS was arrested at Sydney airport in May (06) after US authorities issued a warrant for his return to America.
The commodities trader is wanted on charges of evading $1.5 million (GBP769,000) in income tax and is currently in an Australian jail awaiting extradition.
Michelle explains, "It's a strange thing having one's father locked up, but you get used to it."
The former DAWSON'S CREEK star left home when she was 15 years old and became legally emancipated from her parents so she could move to Los Angeles and become an actress.
The 26-year-old is not close to her father and was shocked when he was arrested in Australia, which is where Ledger hails from.
She adds, "It is ironic to have him (Larry) in Australia, of all places. It's like, 'Could you pick somewhere else to get arrested? Sydney is a little tricky for us!'"
