Williams Denies Destiny's Child Reunion Comments
Singer Michelle Williams has shot down reports she is reuniting with her former DESTINY'S CHILD bandmates Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, insisting her comments about their sisterly bond have been over-exaggerated.
The Independent Women hitmakers split in 2005 and the three stars have each gone on to achieve varying degrees of success in their solo ventures.
Fans were recently given new hope that the band may get back together for another record, after British tabloid the News of the World quoted Williams as saying, “It will definitely happen. We’re sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny’s Child."
But Williams has taken to her Twitter.com blog to debunk the claims and apologise to excited fans.
She writes, "I never said DC is getting back together. Just bcuz (sic) I said we love each other and are sisters... they took that quote and ran with it! Sorry."
