WILL.I.AM is planning a duet with an unknown British reality show hopeful - because he's convinced she's the next global superstar.
The Black Eyed Peas rapper appeared on Simon Cowell's singing contest The X Factor earlier this year (10) to help his pal Cheryl Cole decide which acts she should take through to the contest's live rounds.
He recommended the Girls Aloud star should mentor 17-year-old singer/rapper Cher Lloyd - and now he's convinced it was the right decision as the youngster has made it through to the show's final next weekend (11-12Dec10).
The Boom Boom Pow hitmaker is so impressed with Lloyd, he has vowed to sign her to his label if Cowell doesn't hand her a contract after the series ends - and he's eyeing a collaboration with her and Cole.
He tells the Sunday Times Magazine, "Cher's the one. There are tons of lights in the world, then there's lasers. And that girl is a laser... (If staff at Cowell's label sign her) I don't know if they'd know what to do with her. Well, they would. They'd call someone like me to produce it...
"Maybe I should write a song for Cher from scratch, and me and Cher and Cheryl can all perform it on The X Factor. That would be crazy."
