Will.i.am Sorry For Swearing During London Festival Set
25 June 2012The Black Eyed Peas star took to the stage at the Bbc's Hackney Weekend event, but left viewers at home shocked after shouting 'f**k' during his set.
He has now said sorry for any offence caused and reached out to executives at the network, which he appeared on as a judge on the U.K.'s version of The Voice earlier this year (12).
He tells Bbc's Newsbeat, "That was my first time doing it without the Peas, a massive audience like that...
"I apologise to all the people, I didn't know we were live on TV. I dropped a couple of F-Bombs, and I apologise to the people at the Bbc. I'm loose... but if I would of (sic) known we were live (I wouldn't have done it)... my mistake, bad communication - I just thought they were taping (song) This Is Love."
