Why Does Will Smith Do Bad Things? Men in Black 4 In Development

Will Smith – everyone knows the theme tune to The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and everything thinks you’re basically a nice guy. But all that’s going to change (the nice guy bit, that tune is stuck in our heads forever) unless you stop doing bad things.

And for the record, doing Men in Black 4 is a bad thing. Sony have hired Oren Uziel to pen a fourth entry to the franchise, which, with its last effort, starting the dwindling reviews in motion. The original Men in Black was a hit, managing 91% on Rotten Tomatoes from a bunch of reviews. Men in Black II was an unmitigated disaster, fairing terribly with the critics and only mustering up 39% on the review-aggregator site. Men in Black III was much better, by the second film’s standards, struggling towards 70%. There’s a pattern here, Smith; it dictates that the fourth film will be a big pile of bad. Uziel will tackle Men in Black 4 after he works on 21 Jump Street 2, another mistake, which Sony already has confirmed for a June 6, 2014 release.

Will Smith’s portfolio is increasingly becoming a what’s what in bad things. We don’t want to be insulting; we like Smith, and that’s why we’re saying ‘bad things’ instead of ‘f$*£*($&£’, but if this keeps on going, this staff writer may find themselves out of a job for foul and abusive language. There might be a few law suits, too, who knows.
