Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis Serve Coffee In Seattle

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis stepped up their promotional tour for new movie 'The Campaign' this week, serving coffee to stunned passers-by in Seattle. The Hollywood duo arrived for work at the Local Color Cafe in Pike Place Market, serving espressos in the tiny coffee shop.
The appearance was part of a nationwide 'fake' political campaign, and both stars were in character as opponents vying for a North Carolina congressional seat. Hundreds of fans who had caught wind off their appearance had been queuing outside the coffee shop since 6am, according to Seattle Pi.com. The 11-city public relations tour has led the duo to a Chicago Cubs game, the Naval Air Station in Fort Worth, Texas and The Grove shopping complex in Los Angeles. The Seattle appearance brought out the biggest turnout yet, and Ferrell told MSNbc.com, "It's obviously extremely nice and flattering, but then we felt guilty that we were just whisked into a coffee place and really only made contact with maybe 25 people. It's almost like you want to take a full-page ad in the newspaper tomorrow saying, 'Sorry'.I won't actually follow through with that." The new comedy is the brainchild of both stars, with Galifianakis revealing, "The beginning of it was Will and I went to lunch and were trying to figure out like what could we do together. At first it was centered around the boy pageant circuit. It doesn't even make sense. Two Southern guys".
'The Campaign' hits cinemas in the U.S. on August 10, 2012, before opening in the UK on September 12, 2012.
