Widow: 'I Own Mills' Home'
An elderly woman has blasted reports Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills has bought a home in Slovenia, insisting she still owns the mountain lodge.
Dana Stankovic, 84, insists the wooden building overlooking Lake Bohinj belongs to her, despite reports Mills paid $800,000 (GBP400,000) for the retreat.
Stankovic insists she owns the home, which was built by her father in 1937.
She says, "We had to abandon the house when the Second World War broke out.
"Then it was appropriated by the Nazis, the communists and the Slovenian government. We never sold it and now we want it back."
