Why Won't Victoria Beckham Smile? She's Blaming The World Of Fashion

Recently, a momentous occasion in pop history occurred. All five members of The Spice Girls were gathered in one room for the first time, to celebrate the re-launch of a West End musical, that had been written in their honour. The girls, well, women, were clearly jubilant. They laughed, they joked, they smiled. Well. four of them did. Stood on the end of the row there was Victoria Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice. Barely cracking a smile.

News just in, though! It's not her fault! It's not that she doesn't want to smile, she simply can't! Fashion has stolen her smile! The former pop star has apparently sunk so deep into the world of fashion and succumbed so hard to its vacuous ways, that he has sacrificed her ability to smile. That's what she told Glamour magazine in a recent interview, and who are we to question her? What do we know about the world of high fashion and what it may or may not do to your facial muscles?

"I actually used to smile a lot in pictures," Victoria explained. "I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs.] Fashion stole my smile! I've created this person. And I'm not saying that's not me, but I wouldn't say that's the whole me.. It's an armour that goes up." So there you have it. Fashion stole her smile and she needs to put on her armour to steel herself against the battlefield of 'being paid to have your picture taken.'
