Kim Kardashian - Why Won't Beyonce Be Kim Kardashian's Best Friend?

Of course, West and Beyonce's husband Jay Z are the closest of pals, meaning Kim and Beyonce very often find themselves at the same dinners, or the same gigs. Though two of the most famous women on the planet, their backgrounds couldn't be any different. Kim has made her money through reality television while Beyonce is a multi-Grammy award winning singer, with a number of acclaimed albums under her belt. Kardashian apparently made her latest attempt to form a friendship with Beyonce at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia on Saturday night (August 1, 2012). A source backstage told the New York Daily News, "Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other.They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn't even acknowledge [Kardashian] was there until the concert was almost over". Seemingly forced together in Jay Z and Kanye's dressing room, the women eventually "made small talk", though an insider added, "You could tell Kim was uncomfortable. She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn't say much".
