The Ghost star felt inspired to give up cigarettes after learning about the struggles of those suffering from the deadly condition, which affects the lungs and often restricts breathing.

Goldberg has started cutting down and she shared her progress with followers in a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, writing, "I am gonna try & stop smoking soon, saw (a) video about 2 kids with cystic fibrosis and all they want is to be able 2 (sic) breathe normally... Ok so far I've had 1 ciggerett (sic) today... now almost at work gonna (aim for) 4 2day (today) & I'll see how it goes."
