The couple met when Tre appeared alongside Cole during her performance of 'Promise This' on the 2010 Uk X Factor live final. After keeping in touch, the pair finally met up again during Cole's 29th birthday in Las Vegas last month and have been "inseparable" ever since. The source added, "It's going well. They really like each other". On Monday (August 13, 2012), Cheryl and Tre enjoyed a double date with Kimberley Walsh and her boyfriend Justin Scott at Nobu in West London. The following day, Cole donned a black mini-skirt and vest top for another meal with her American dancer boyfriend at Roka restaurant in central London. A fellow diner there said, "They are clearly very close. Several times Cheryl leaned in to him and touched his knee as he spoke. There is certainly a spark between them". The former X Factor judge had never admitted to dating anyone since splitting from Ashley Cole, though rumors had suggested she was in a relationship with dancer Derek Hough.

Cole's new man is understood to be a close friend of Will.I.AM, who wrote on the dancer's Facebook page this week, "I ain't got no money... I ain't got no car to take you on a date!". Los Angeles based Tre originated from New Jersey and has worked for Leona Lewis whilst also appearing on American Idol. He holds a degree in finance and psychology.
