Whitney Houston Wanted To Marry Michael

Whitney Houston ''really wanted to marry'' Michael Jackson - according to their friend David Gest.

The music producer was a close confidant of both the late stars, and he believes Whitney - who was laid to rest in New Jersey on Sunday (19.02.12) - would have liked to have got together with the 'Thriller' singer, but he was ''too shy'' to make a move on her.

He said: ''She really loved Michael and he adored her. Michael told me they once shared a passionate kiss, and she told me she was at one time very much in love with him.

''I think she really wanted to marry him, but although he had a crush on her, he was too shy.

''Later, he confessed to me he should have made every move. If they had got together, I believe Whitney would not have done DRUGS or become a semi-recluse.''

The 58-year-old star - who was previously married to Liza Minnelli - saw Whitney perform in Copenhagen, Denmark, last year and he was reduced to tears by the fact she could no longer hold the notes she used to.

David - who interviewed the music legend for his acclaimed documentary 'Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon' - added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: ''When we met last year, it was at her concert in Copenhagen and it was the saddest performance I had ever seen her give.

''Tears came to my eyes as she just couldn't hold her notes. I actually walked out after four songs, had a sob then came back to watch the rest of the show. My heart was bleeding for her.''

lol lady robyn, are you moderator of the boards? No-one needs your welcome to post here. If you don't t like some comments, tough. You have no control over them, This shows further just how idiotic Michael Jackson floons are. Idiotic because you make that sort of comment but cannot act upon it. If some are no longer welcome, what are you going to do with their future posts? I'll tell you what you'll be able to do. Absolutely nothing because there is nothing you can do or threaten. Put up or shut up. Maybe you'll be more rational when your period is over. It's obviously making you very hormonal. Now, carry on with your bulls**t and see if anyone you dislike gives a flying f**k about it.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I do think they would've been great for each other but @ least they would good friends. & Now they're together again in heaven. Has any1 else noticed that after Michael died, the people closest to him are leaving? Elizabeth Taylor, (former attorney) Peter Lopez, Frank DiLeo, Whitney Houston... Weird, huh? Oh... & btw, for scoffers like "nitram", "I ain't kidding" & any1 else: please take your disrespectful bulls**t someplace else. Idiots like you are no longer welcomed here. Period.

zen2580 says "Michael Jackson was not a drug addict !!!!!!!!!!" What world do you live in? Even the defence in Murray's trial admitted he was addicted you numpty. Even in their closing he said it. Most medical experts/professionals on both sides in that trial agreed he was addicted. He was addicted/dependant for decades and it's a fact, not a wish. Fans really should rethink what they are saying. You're not doing yourselves any favours.
