Whitesnake Shoot Down Tour Reports

Rockers WHITESNAKE have upset fans by scrapping 2010 tour plans in order to concentrate on their next album.
The Here I Go Again hitmakers disappointed their followers by pulling out of their 2009 U.S. tour with Judas Priest after singer David Coverdale was diagnosed with severe throat problems.
Internet reports suggested the band was preparing to hit the road again this year - but the group is adamant they are staying in the recording studio for the foreseeable future.
A statement on the band's MySpace page reads, "(The band) will not be touring in all of 2010 because they are working on several projects. Any information to the contrary is WRONG."
Coverdale adds, "My main focus, of course, will be writing and recording a new Whitesnake studio album for spring 2011."
