Welsh Music Festival Is Cancelled

Welsh music festival BLOOM has been cancelled because of logistical problems.
The three-day event was due to take place from 14 to 16 August (09) at Chepstow racecourse in Monmouthshire, south-east Wales after organisers were forced to change venues at short notice last month (Jul09).
Noah and The Whale, Frankmusik and The Whip were due to play the event.
Ticket holders have been offered entry to two other British music festivals, Beachdown or the Big Chill, instead and disappointed music fans will be given two free passes to the Bloom event in 2010, which has already been scheduled.
Festival organiser Olivia Chapman said: "It's been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, as Bloom is an independently run organisation, built from our very heart and souls. However, we have to think of the bigger picture and feel that we are making the right decision."
