TRAINSPOTTING creator Irvine Welsh has made a film about the life of a Scottish marine who was released from death row after 21 years behind bars.
The 10-minute documentary follows the progress of former marine Kenny Richey as he attempts to adapt to life out of prison.
The 43-year-old was sentenced to death in 1986 after being found guilty of starting a fire which killed a two-year-old girl in Ohio, but was released earlier this year (Jan08) after pleading no contest to a series of lesser charges.
Welsh's film will be premiered at this summer's (08) Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Darth Vader is back and James Earl Jones will once again provide the villain’s voice.
