Weller Wants To Collaborate With Oasis Brothers

Veteran rocker Paul Weller was secretly delighted by the break-up of British band Oasis - because he might now be able to work with the warring GALLAGHER brothers.

The Live Forever hitmakers split over the summer (09) following months of tension between frontman Liam Gallagher and his guitarist brother Noel.

Noel quit the group to launch his own solo career, and Liam is back with his former bandmates working on a new project which could still use the Oasis name.

Weller is adamant the split will be beneficial for both brothers - and he is eyeing separate collaborations with them now they are no longer part of Oasis.

He tells NME.com, "Creatively, I think the Oasis split is going to be a good thing. There's going to be some great things to come from both of them in the future. I'd definitely be up for collaborating with Liam and with Noel. I love them both equally, and think they’re both extremely talented in their own ways."
