LATEST: A Scottish employment tribunal has ordered music mogul PETE WATERMAN to pay a staggering $25,000 (GBP13,000) compensation to an employee he fired from his model train-making company MM1 MODELMAKERS.
Engineer MALCOLM COXHEAD claimed Waterman called him a "f**king liar" after he told the outspoken producer he shouldn't make staff redundant, because the company was not experiencing financial problems.
The Glasgow tribunal agreed that Coxhead was unfairly fired from his $44,00 (GBP23,000) a-year job in July (04) following the foul-mouthed argument, so told Waterman to pay compensation.17/03/2005 03:03
