Taylor Swift - Was The Man Arrested For Trespassing In Tennessee After Taylor Swift?
A man was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday (Dec 14) after he was spotted scaling a fence into a house possibly belonging to Taylor Swift, with local police arriving in the scene shortly afterwards to apprehend the man.
The man, 24-year-old Jacob Nicholas Kulke, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, broke into the upscale home by climbing a fence and a gate before police were notified and arrived on the scene. Upon his capture the man told police he was there to surprise a woman on her birthday, authorities have said, although he was apparently unspecific as to who the mystery woman was.
The $2.5 million house in Belle Meade, a Nashville suburb, was sold by an unnamed trustee last year, one who has previously handled property deals for Swift. With the identity of the Nashville homeowner still under-raps, many have begun to wonder whether the person Kulke wanted to wish happy birthday to was the country star, who celebrated her 23rd birthday last Thursday (Dec 13). A spokesperson for Taylor declined to comment on whether the home was linked to the Swift family when questioned yesterday.
Fortunately, Swift was out of the state during the trespassing incident, which is just as well as Kulke looks as though he has a history of misdemeanour that just doesn't sit well at all. Nashville police said in a news release that Kulke is also wanted in the state of Colorado for contempt of court and probation violation in regard to a burglary case. He has also been charged in the past on counts of misdemeanour charges of battery, disorderly conduct and possession of THC from 2010 in Wisconsin, according to court records.
He is currently still under police custody, charged with criminal trespassing and with a bond set at $10,000.
