Was Robert Pattinson Lying About 'Dogging' Incident?
R-Patz shared that he once accidently cycled into an infamous dogging spot, saying, "I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, 'Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?' And I'm going there every day kinda thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid as I was there". Kimmel was almost in tears, and the audience lapped it up, though was Pattinson telling the whole truth - and nothing but the truth? Tmz.com head honcho Harvey Levin certainly doesn't think so. In a video posted on his website, the guru calls out Pattinson for lying, saying that cops in Los Angeles are now "very reluctant to do any sort of raid" after a series of similar incidents went wrong several years ago. The clip also features a scene from the hit comedy movie 'There's Something About Mary' - where police raid a dogging spot - hinting that Pattinson may have stolen his funny little anecdote.
Whether the actor is being truthful or not is probably irrelevant, his promotional tour couldn't have gone any better in light of recent events involving Kristen Stewart. It was suggested this week that the former couple will walk the red carpet together at the forthcoming Twilight premiere, though we'll have to see it to believe it.
