A music industry watchdog has issued a warning to Michael Jackson fans - urging them to not to purchase tickets for the superstar's upcoming tour unless they are sold through official vendors.
The Thriller hitmaker is expected to announce a comeback tour at a press conference in London on Thursday (05Mar09) - his first live dates since 1996.
And fans eagerly anticipating the concerts are being warned not to be duped by illegal sellers offering counterfeit tickets.
Graham Burns, head of the U.K.'s Association of Secondary Ticket Agents, says, "We are warning people not to buy tickets that are not yet on sale because it is unlikely that they will receive those tickets.
"Its impossible when the dates havent been announced to be selling tickets for something when there are no announced dates."
Jackson is rumoured to be planning a massive 30-date stint at London's O2 Arena this summer (09). The shows will top Prince's 21 night residency at the venue in 2007.
