Ward Won't See The Fighter With Family Members
Former boxer 'IRISH' MICKY WARD is refusing to watch Mark Wahlberg's new movie about his tough life with his family - because he fears they'll struggle with the way they're portrayed in the film.
Wahlberg plays the tough guy in gritty movie The Fighter and while Ward himself is delighted with the film, he's not sure his former crack addict brother and trainer, played by Christian Bale, and mother will be.
He says, "I'm sure it's hard for DICky (brother) to look at it and see the way he was... I don't know how my sister and mother are going to feel, either. I'm not sitting next to them when they see it."
