One Direction - Wait, Did One Direction Just Snub Justin Bieber?
One Direction have confirmed that Justin Bieber will not appear on their new album, reports The Sun.
“There is no Justin Bieber on the album,” confirmed Harry Styles, quelling the rumours that Canadian-born teenage-heartthrob, and global star Justin Bieber will be appearing on their new album. The two artists, responsible for making millions of young girls shout really loud, were reportedly in talks to galvanise their talents in a sort of pop-concoction likely to reach hysterical consequences, but that’s not going to happen now. Not yet anyway. Justin posted pictures on Twitter of Zayn Malik and Niall Horan hanging out at his house in Los Angeles after the ceremony and said he was "chillin with the homies". This came after One Direction beat the ‘Boyfriend’ star to Best Pop Video at The MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, proving there were no ill feelings between the young icons. That might have changed now, though, considering ‘1D’s’ public Bieber snub.
Their new album, Take Me Home, which was announced late August, will be out on October 1st, and early indications show that it will be a record-breaking album. Despite failing to win the talent show that propelled them to worldwide fame, they have sold 12m records and earned 40 million to become the biggest boy band on the planet in a truly magnificent year. Not bad for ‘losers’.
