Victoria Beckham's Sons 'Delighted' With Harper Seven

Victoria Beckham has given birth to her first daughter and named the baby-girl Harper Seven Beckham. The former Spice Girl turned fashion designer gave birth at the Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday (10th July 2011).

Husband David announced the news via his Facebook page, saying, "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham". The Los Angeles Galaxy star added, "She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA. Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx". The Beckhams are already parents to three boys, 11-year-old Brooklyn, 8-year-old Romeo and 5-year-old Cruz. The couple's spokesman Simon Oliveira confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, "David & Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter". In another post he noted, "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family". Celebrity friends of the couple were quick to send their congratulations, with Victoria's former band-mate Emma Bunton tweeting, "Big kiss to @victoriabeckham can't wait to meet your gorgeous little girl!".

The birth of Harper Seven Beckham came just one-day after Hollywood movie star Kate Hudson welcomed a baby-boy with the Muse rocker MATT BELLAMY.
