Vh1 - Vh1 Storytellers Hands Appearances To Pink, Alicia Keys And Taylor Swift

Vh1's long-running music-interview franchise, Storytellers is turning to three Grammy award-winning artists for it's new season, reports Entertainment Weekly. All the episodes will air on the Storytellers website.
Taylor Swift will get proceedings underway with her appearance on the show scheduled for Sunday, November 11. The Pennsylvania-born singer, who recently broke download records with her song 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' achieving 623,000 paid downloads in its first week, boasts sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million downloads, as well as being a 6-time Grammy Award winner. Alicia Keys follows the next day, and the 14 time Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/producer, actress, New York Times best-selling author, entrepreneur and humanitarian will surely represent one of the show's most decorated guests. Pink concludes the female trio on November 14, and the controversial star is sure to get a few laughs and gasps on the show. Pink is set to release her 6th studio album, The Truth About Love on September 18.
The show, which features one star per episode, includes performances and a lengthy chat, where the singer can regale anecdotes to a tentative audience. The show first aired in 1996 with Ray Davies as the first guest. Subsequent episodes amount to an impressive roster, with Elton John, Paul Simon, David Bowie, Green Day and Kanye West all making appearances. The show bears similarities to Inside the Actors Studio, where actors enjoy a similar, cathartic interview in front of a live studio audience.
