This story upset me, I was upside-down, in the depths of myself." She also said that she did not believe in marriage (Depp and Paradis are not married, despite many assuming that they are, as they have been together so long), or in the idea of a soul mate, saying "if you lose your soul mate everything is done for."

Vanessa Paradis first rose to fame in the music industry when she was just 14 years old, with the song 'Joe le Taxi.' She started dating Johnny Depp in 1998 and they have two children together. It is understood that Depp is due to travel to New Mexico next month to start filming The Lone Ranger. Neither Depp nor Paradis have released a statement regarding their relationship status.
