Vanessa Minnillo Hoping For A Baby Boy

Pregnant Vanessa Minnillo wants a baby boy.

The 31-year-old 'Wipeout' host - who is expecting her first child with husband Nick Lachey - has decided to take a baby gender test to find out the sex of their little one.

She said: ''I'm very excited either way, but I always wanted a boy first. Just a healthy baby.''

Posting a picture of the gender prediction test on twitter, she asked her fans: ''Am I crazy for wanting to try this? I'm such a sucker for this kind of stuff!''

Vanessa - who married Nick on Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island last July - says they have picked out a girl's name already but are still working on the boy's.

She confirms that so far, her pregnancy has been nausea-free, telling followers, ''I'm really lucky.'' However, she admits she, ''Can't wait to get my energy back,'' and she can no longer face her former favourite food - Italian.

On the plus side, she loves the fact her bump represents her and Nick's, ''Love is becoming a person.''

Asked what the best thing about her other half is, she gushed: ''His unconditional love for me. Finally I feel in place in life.''
