Van Halen's Jump Tops Sports Song Poll

Van Halen's 1984 anthem Jump has topped a new survey to find the greatest sporting song of all time.

Prs for Music polled its members to find the most popular sports tune to mark the opening of the London Olympics on Friday (27Jul12), and Jump came out on top.

The Rolling Stones' Start Me Up was second and Jackie Wilson's Higher and Higher came in third.

Spandau Ballet's Gold and Thriller by Michael Jackson rounded out the top five.
