Van Halen Saved Wife From Anorexia
Rocker EDDIE VAN HALEN ended his ex-wife VALERIE BERTINELLI's brief dabble with anorexia - by forcing her to eat hot dogs.
The actress-turned-U.S. weightloss spokeswoman insists her one-time eating disorder would have become a huge problem if her then-husband hadn't intervened.
She tells Ladies Home Journal magazine, "At one point I may have been a little anorexic - I'd go on these super restrictive diets. I got way too skinny.
"Ironically, Ed saved me. He marched me to a hot dog stand where I had this chili dog with cheese.
"I have always loved food way too much to have an eating disorder."
