Joe Jonas was delighted to be invited to appear in Vampire Weekend's new video.

The Jonas Brothers singer had a great time working on the promotional clip for the rockers' new single 'Giving Up The Gun', which also features actor Jake Gyllenhaal and rapper/producer RZA playing tennis against a strong female opponent.

Joe said: "I had a really great time and would definitely do it again. We played a little tennis and had a lot of fun. We got a chance to hang, and they are great guys."

Joe had such a good time, he made sure he held onto a special memento from the day.

He added to MTV News: "Don't tell them, but I stole the headband from the video. Can't wait to see another show of theirs. They are very talented and I love the new record. They all have a great sense of humour."

Joe has also taken to twitter to encourage his fans to watch the video.

He posted: "Go check out the new Vampire Weekend Video for 'Giving Up The Gun.' I'm in it! Had a great time shooting with the guys."
