Val Kilmer Gets Twixt Now And Sunrise
Val Kilmer has landed the lead character in Francis Ford Coppola's new directorial endeavour 'Twixt Now and Sunrise'.
Val Kilmer is to play the lead role in Francis Ford Coppola's 'Twixt Now and Sunrise'.
The 50-year-old actor - best known for his roles in 'Top Gun' and 'Alexander - will play the main character in the movie alongside Elle Fanning and Bruce Dern.
The film is based on a short story written by Coppola, and sees Kilmer take on the role of a writer in the thriller, which has overtones of horror, Deadline.com reports.
Val will next be seen in '5 Days of August' alongside Keira Knightley's boyfriend Rupert Friend and has a number of projects in the pipeline including 'Tales of an Ancient Empire' and 'Blood Out' with Vinnie Jones and 50 Cent.
Coppola - who is best known for 'The Godfather' movies - recently directed 'Tetro' with Vincent Gallo and Alden Ehrenreich, which failed to set the box office alight.
He has also worked as a producer on 'Marie Antoinette', directed by his daughter Sofia Coppola.
