The Saturdays singer and fiance Ben Foden welcomed their first child into the world today (13.03.12), and the England rugby player has taken to his twitter account to reveal both mother and daughter are ''amazing and healthy''.

He wrote: ''I am officially a Dad!!!!!! Una an baby are both amazing and healthy!!!! So proud of them both! #babybenuna (sic)''

The Saturdays - who are also made up of Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Vanessa White and Rochelle Wiseman - used the social networking site to tweet their congratulations to the couple, and the 'Ego' hitmakers ''can't wait'' to see the new arrival.

They wrote: ''HUGE congrats to @unahealy & @ben_foden on the birth of their baby girl! Your aunties Frankie, Mollie, Roch & Ness CAN'T wait to meet u (sic)''.

The girl band members have all tweeted their excitement at the news individually, with both Mollie and Rochelle revealing they are ''proud'' of the pair.

Mollie wrote: ''Congratulations to my beautiful @unahealy and @ben_foden! I couldn't be more proud! What gorgeous parents u will make! I want to seeee her! (sic)

Rochelle tweeted: ''A beautiful girl has entered the world today and, I'm her aunty#blessed I'm so proud of @unahealy @ben_foden BIG love! Xx (sic)''
