Un'Fortune'ate! Chris Brown Refuses To Stand As He Loses Out To Frank Ocean At Grammys

Frank Ocean's Grammy win was met with remote indifference from fellow R&B star Chris Brown as he failed to rise from his seat at the awards ceremony last night (February 10th 2013).

Chris Brown was unlucky at the Grammy awards as he lost out on an Urban Contemporary Album accolade for his last effort 'Fortune' to his rival Frank Ocean with his debut album 'Channel Orange'. As Ocean was announced the victor in that category, Brown seemed to do a double take before hastily applauding, though he can be seen resolutely sitting as Ocean took to the stage to accept his award.

Of course, the pair haven't exactly been getting on like a house on fire recently. In January, there was an altercation between the two of them over a parking space outside a West Hollywood recording studio whereby Brown punched Ocean, with one of his team allegedly threatened to shoot him. Ocean, however, decided against pressing charges.

Brown's snub didn't go unnoticed either, with much speculation over the net suggesting that Adele and Ed Sheeran who were seated nearby gave him critical looks as they gave their standing ovation. Ocean's other rival, Miguel, also failed to stand as his album 'Kaleidoscope Dream' lost out.
