UK Film Mavericks Pure Film Productions Are Not 'Victims' Of Their Own Success After Payback Season

Following on from the huge success of UK Indie Film House Pure Film Production's debut cinematic release 'Payback Season', a film whose box office swamped many recent higher budget releases including The Veteran, Everywhere and Nowhere, Turnout and Bonded by Blood; the companies visionary founders Danny Donnelly and Justin King press on with the release of their second gripping movie Victim due in UK Cinemas in June, followed closely by the much anticipated DVD launch for Payback Season on July 2nd.

Pure Film Productions continues its practice of giving back to UK talent with the forthcoming feature 'Victim' on June 8th. Starring Ashley Chin, Michael Maris, Jason Maza and Adam Deacon the film also captures Ashley Madekwe and David Harewood MBE in their latest UK film roles, before they made huge strides on American network TV with Revenge and Homeland respectively.

Victim is an urban love story that follows the consequences of crime. It's a multi-layered story that touches on the reasons why people make certain choices, highlighting that sometimes people do things that can be considered bad, though their choice is not an easy one to make.

Victim - A film made with much care and love from both cast and crew in and around east London, was written by Ashley Chin and Michael Maris, now both successful actors in their own right, who both experienced first-hand the issues of making the right choice whilst growing up in south London. They also have lead roles in the film confirming its authenticity on screen.

Victim - is in Cinemas nationwide on June 8th.

Payback Season - released on DVD July 2nd.
