Tyga - Tyga's Representative Dismisses Landlord Lawsuit
A representative for rapper Tyga has hit back at allegations the star has fallen behind on rent for his Malibu, California mansion, insisting his payments are all up to date.
The hip-hop star, who is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label, moved into the $16,000 (£10,000)-a-month property in June (12), but asked to leave the house at the end of last month (Sep12) after fans continually showed up on his doorstep.
His landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, refused to break the lease agreement and subsequently sued Tyga - real name Michael Nguyen-Stevenson - after he allegedly failed to pay rent for September (12).
However, Tyga's spokesperson has dismissed the lawsuit, telling Tmz.com the rapper doesn't owe Rezai anything as he provided the required 30-days notice before vacating the property.
The 22 year old has since purchased a new $6.5 million (£4 million) pad in Calabasas, California. The property boasts seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a movie theatre, gym, pool and waterfall.
