Two Door Cinema Club - Two Door Cinema Club Launch Heroes Search
22 January 2013Rockers Two Door Cinema Club are launching a search to find "local heroes" at every stop on their upcoming U.K. tour.
The Northern Irish band is looking for outstanding individuals who have showed bravery and selflessness, and will reward honourees with free concert tickets.
The stars will also share each hero's story on their website, and singer Alex Trimble will take portraits of the winners for an online exhibition which will be displayed after the trek wraps.
Trimble says, "We want to hear fan stories and celebrate the people who give back to their local community or put themselves on the line for other people. We always hear amazing stories from fans wherever we travel to and this time round we want to draw attention to them and share them with more people. We can't wait to hit the road."
Two Door Cinema Club's tour kicks off in Newcastle, England, on Thursday (24Jan13).
