Twitterverse Overwhelmed By Farewell Tweets For Actress Yvette Wilson
QUESTLOVE of The Roots, actor Tony Rock and fellow actresses Malinda Williams, Gabrielle Union and Niecy Nash are among those close to the TV and film actress who have voiced their feelings of loss on the web. Shar Jackson, who had worked with Wilson many times on the show Moesha, wrote numerous farewells on her Twitter page - being one of the first people to break the news. One Tweet read; "My heart is soooo unbelievably broken. I wanna thank all my tweeties for their prayers but God has chosen to take my sister Yvette home."
Wilson, who found fame when she co-starred on the 90's sitcom 'The Parkers' with comedienne MONIQUE', eventually going on to star in the sitcom Moesha. She had some roles in films too, such as "House Party 2," "House Party 3," and "Friday," passed away following a battle with cancer, having also been plagued by kidney problems for years. She was 48 years old.
Whilst there has been no official statement released concerning her passing, the micro-blogging site Twitter has been flooded with farewells from friends, fans and well wishers alike since the news was first broken.
