Zooey Deschanel - Tv Stars Line Up To Punch Jimmy Kimmel At Emmy Launch

Zooey Deschanel, Kathy Bates and a naked Lena Dunham took part in an hilarious backstage comedy skit which opened the telecast of the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (23Sep12).

The ladies were all prepping for the big night in a restroom when sobbing host Jimmy Kimmel burst in and hid in the cubicle next to Dunham, who was naked and eating cake.

Oscar winner Bates smashed down the locked door and Kimmel announced he couldn't host the show because he "got a little Botox".

The comic was sporting a wrinkle-free forehead and plumped lips and announced he looked "hideous".

Upon hearing his news, former hosts Heidi Klum, Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Howie Mandel and Jeff Probst appeared over the wall of the cubicle and announced, "We'll do it".

Bates then offered to punch his face "back in" and the ladies all took turns whacking him.

Kimmel was then loaned a pair of trousers from comedienne pal Ellen DeGeneres as he made his way to the stage.
