Tulisa Wins Apology From Ex-boyfriend Over Sex Tape Scandal
Tulisa Contostavlos, 23, attended London's High Court where ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards issued his 'sincere apologies' for his part in Tulisa's sex tape scandal.
The case refers to an incident back in March were Edwards supposedly leaked a video online showing the 'X Factor' judge and former N Dubz singer performing a sex act on him while they were in a relationship. Tulisa uploaded a video on YouTube soon after it went viral. "When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love. and you trust, you never imagine for one minute that that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of. the world", she had said with utter devastation. Edwards (also known as MC Ultra) recently retracted his initial claim that he had nothing to do with the release of the clip and solicitor Jonathan Coad told the court: "The invasion of Miss Contostavlos' privacy was of the most severe kind imaginable. She suffered and continues to suffer very serious distress at this wholly unjustified and unlawful interference with her rights". He then went on to say that he "now entirely accepts that he should not have [published the tape]. He is deeply regretful of the consequences of his actions, as it was never his intention to cause Miss Contostavlos or her family any harm". He has also agreed not to speak publicly about their relationship in future.
Outside court, Tulisa spoke to Daily Record reporters. "I am relieved that this is finally over. Justin Edwards's actions were to spite me, make money and ruin my career. He has succeeded in none of these things", she said, "I would now like to draw a line under this and put it in the past. Justin messed with the wrong woman".
