Trump Lets Troubled Beauty Queen Keep Her Crown
Many people thought Trump would insist the hellraising Miss Kentucky step down after bringing shame on the pageant he owns, by living it up in New York, but, at a press conference, the big businessman gave Conner a belated 21st birthday gift.
In a move that even surprised Conner herself, Trump announced he won't be firing her as Miss USA, despite allegations of underage drinking, drug use and sexual misconduct.
Trump said, "She's agreed to go into rehab. She knows that if she makes even the slightest mistake from here on, she will be immediately replaced.
"I believe she can do a tremendous service to young people."
A stunned Conner fought back tears as she responded to her boss: "In no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance.
"I've had a very big blessing bestowed on me. It truly takes someone with a wonderful heart, a heart of gold and a blessed soul."
