Tributes Pour In For Gray

Rock bands including KORN, PAPA ROACH and SEPULTURA have paid tribute to tragic SLIPKNOT bassist PAUL GRAY.
The star, whose wife Brenna is expecting their first child later this year (10), was found dead at a hotel in Urbandale, Iowa on Monday morning (24May10). The cause of death is still under investigation but cops have found no evidence of foul play.
Following the news of the tragedy, several bands including pop punks Good Charlotte have spoken out to pay their respects to Gray.
Korn guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer says, "I want to send my love to his family and the band, they're going through a really very hard time right now. I'm speechless, I just want to send my prayers, love and respect to everybody that is surrounding his wife and his baby to be."
Papa Roach singer Jacoby Shaddix says, "(Paul) was an awesome person on and off stage. He will be missed by many including myself. His spirit will live on through the killer music he wrote."
In a joint statement, Sepultura members Paulo Pinto Jr., Andreas Kisser, Derrick Green and Jean Dolabella, wrote: "RIP Paul Gray, we're shocked and very sad. This is another tragic loss for our metal community."
And in a post on his page, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden writes, "RIP PAUL GRAY sendin' thoughts & prayers out to SlipKnot and their friends & families."
Nonpoint drummer Rob Rivera tells MTV News, "I am deeply saddened to hear and read about the death of Paul Gray... To all in Slipknot and Paul's family, Nonpoint send all our love, condolences and prayers out to you. You will be missed by all your friends and fans around the world. Rest In Peace my metal brother."
Shadows Fall singer Brian Fair adds, "I'm so crushed to hear about the passing of Paul Gray... He was a great musician, an underrated songwriter and a truly warm soul underneath the evil mask he rocked onstage. This is a huge loss to the metal world. He will be missed deeply."
