Trekkers To See New-old Star Trek Episode

A four-day Star Trek marathon is set to open tonight in Beverly Hills with a new, hour-long episode featuring original cast members George Takei, Grace Lee Whitney and Majel Barrett Roddenberry and new actors in the roles of Capt. Kirk, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy. According to today's (Thursday) Los Angeles Times, the episode, "World Enough and Time," is based on a story by Michael Reaves that was originally conceived in 1976 when Paramount was considering making a feature film based on the TV series. The episode is also set to be streamed on the Internet at www.StarTreknewvoyages.com and www.magictimeonline.com.
